Brand & identity
The X80 roundel, the poster look and a colour for every return time. One identity across print and web.
Case study · Brand & launch campaign
Albatross Coaches had a brilliant idea: the X80, a direct service from Derby to Alton Towers. We gave it a brand, an interactive timetable site and a launch campaign whose first post passed 100k views.
No media budget, no agency machine. One scroll-stopping launch post, shot and cut in-house, and its first post alone passed one hundred thousand views.
Albatross Coaches had the route. We had to make a whole region want to ride it, and know exactly when it runs. That meant a brand with theme-park energy, a site that answers where, when and how much in seconds, and content people would actually stop and watch.
Four stops from a blank page to a launch the whole region saw.
The X80 roundel, the poster look and a colour for every return time. One identity across print and web.
A site that answers where, when and how much in seconds. Check today's return, plan a trip, see every stop.
Cinematic, social-first content that sold the day out, not the bus. Made to stop the scroll and start the hype.
The launch post dropped and took off. It passed 100k views, the whole region talking about the X80 before opening day.

An announcement gets scrolled past. A great post gets shared. We built the X80 launch as social-first content, all the thrill of the day out and the ease of just turning up, made to stop the scroll.
Mobile-first and built to be shared, it did what a poster never could: it let people feel the ride before they ever stepped on board. One post passed 100k views.
We carried the X80 poster identity straight onto the web, then built the whole site around one promise: tell riders exactly when the coach runs and when it heads back. A colour for every return time keeps a big day out easy to read at a glance, no app, no account, no faff.
Where it goes, when it runs, how much. The home page settles all three before anyone has to scroll.
Four return-time colours run through the timetable, calendar and today's-return widget, the spine of the whole site.
Pick a date and the site hands back that day's outward and return times. No timetable-squinting.
Mobile-first and quick to load, with no app and no account. Just turn up and ride.
Brand, content and website, all from one team.
