The guest side

A booking page that looks like your room.

Your logo, your colours and photographs of the spaces you seat people in. No app to download, no account to create, and a confirmation that came from you.

  • Guests choose where they sit. Terrace, booth or grill table, recorded on the booking and honoured when a table is allocated.
  • Sell a little extra on the way through. A cake, flowers or a bottle, with your own price and your own limit.
  • They change it without phoning you. Every confirmation carries a link to amend or cancel, with your refund rules applied.

The difference

Fully booked is usually not the real reason.

Most systems work out eight reasons a table is unavailable, then show the guest one sentence. A closed Monday, a party of fourteen and a genuinely full Saturday all read the same, so people who would have eaten with you walk away instead.

Fully booked.

We are closed on Mondays. There is a table free on Tuesday.

Fully booked.

Nothing at 7pm. There is 8:45pm, or a place on the waiting list.

Fully booked.

Fourteen is more than we seat online. Send an enquiry and we will call you back.

The host stand

Built for 19:45 on a Saturday.

Six queues in a fixed order, live counts in parties and covers, and filters by room, by party size and by who still needs a table.

  • Arrived is not seated. A party at the door never looks like one already eating.
  • The list holds still while you read it. Counts stay live, positions move when you ask.
  • Made for the iPad. A real tablet layout, with touch targets sized for service.

Floor and walk ins

It knows your floor, not just your covers.

Map your rooms and tables once. After that, every booking is allocated against the room you actually have, and staff tables never enter the online pool.

  • Combinations you decide. Push two fours together for a seven if you allow it, and never if you do not.
  • Walk ins told the truth. Every free table comes with how long it really has before its next booking.
  • Short windows end on time. Take a 45 minute table and the walk in is written to finish when the window does.

Deposits and no shows

Protect the covers you cannot afford to lose.

Three ways to hold a table. Your cancellation window and no show charge are applied for you, and shown to the guest before they pay.

Booking fee

Taken when the booking is made.

Deposit

A fixed amount, or an amount per head.

Card hold

Nothing taken unless they do not turn up.

  • Payments run on your own Stripe account, as the merchant of record.
  • Extras and deposits are different money, and they cancel separately.
  • A card authorisation lasts about a week, so on a booking further out we say so and suggest a deposit instead.

Also included

The rest of the reservation book.

Waiting list

A cancellation is offered on automatically, one guest at a time, with a claim link and a countdown.

Guest book

Every booking builds a record: how often they come, what they spend, what they are allergic to.

Events and set menus

Sell a sitting like a ticket, with its own capacity, price per head and deposit rules.

Messages in your name

Confirmation, reminder, change and cancellation, by email and SMS, in your branding.

Insights

Covers, no shows, how far ahead people book and how much of the room you sold, against a fair period.

Setup that checks itself

A health panel names what is still misconfigured, and links straight to the fix.

Common questions

Yes. A fixed amount or an amount per head, taken when the booking is made, with your own cancellation window and no show charge. You can also take a booking fee instead, or an authorisation on the card that is only captured if the party does not turn up.

If you offer the choice. Give each room a photo and a description, and the room a guest picks is recorded on the booking and respected when a table is allocated, including if you move them later in the night.

Only if you tell it to. You define the combinations that work on your floor, and those are offered both online and at the host stand. Tables you keep back for staff never enter the online pool at all.

Yes, and it tells you the truth about the table you are about to use, including when it is only free for forty five minutes and which booking is on it next.

It is built for it. There is a dedicated tablet layout with a fixed bottom bar and touch targets sized for a busy service, rather than a desktop page shrunk down until nothing can be tapped.

No. Reservations work on their own. If you do run both with us, your guests share one record across bookings and orders, and you get one bill rather than two.
