Senior Full Stack Engineer, UAE
Regional Product Experience·Senior
Help adapt Ordernised’s ordering and merchant experiences for a proposed UAE product presence while contributing to the shared platform.
The job
In this role you will be a Dubai-based engineer connecting regional customer needs with the wider product team. You will work across frontend and backend features, with particular attention to localisation, configurable business rules and maintainable shared components. You will help investigate needs before treating them as requirements, and avoid creating a separate product branch for each market. Arabic-language fluency is not required for the role; language-specific content should be reviewed by an appropriate specialist.
What you would be doing

- Improve internationalisation, locale formatting and right-to-left interface readiness.
- Work with local account and sales colleagues to understand restaurant workflows.
- Collaborate with payments and integration specialists on region-specific requirements.
- Maintain tenant-aware permissions, reliable data models and automated test coverage.
- Coordinate design and technical decisions with UK colleagues through clear written proposals.
- Review regional releases and document support considerations and known limitations.
What we are looking for
- Strong experience shipping production full-stack web applications.
- Practical React, TypeScript and backend API development skills.
- Confidence designing relational data models and maintainable configuration.
- Experience collaborating across locations and explaining technical trade-offs clearly.
- Ability to turn varied customer requests into coherent, reusable product capabilities.
Useful, but not essential
- Experience with localisation or right-to-left layouts.
- Familiarity with hospitality or commerce products in the Gulf region.
- Experience collaborating with multilingual content or regional implementation teams.
Tools you might use
- TypeScript
- React
- Next.js
- PostgreSQL
- Internationalisation tooling
- Browser testing
