The job
You will improve the foundations that allow engineers to deliver restaurant software safely. - Maintain consistent development, preview and production configuration practices.
- Develop dashboards and alerts tied to customer-visible service health.
- Support database backup, restore and migration procedures through documented exercises.
- Strengthen secrets handling, service permissions and environment access.
- Identify reliability and hosting-cost improvements using actual workload evidence.
- Create concise runbooks and help coordinate incident reviews and follow-up work.
What we are looking for
- Experience operating production web applications or cloud infrastructure.
- Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, configuration management and version control.
- Understanding of logs, metrics, traces and useful alert design.
- Ability to script repeatable operational tasks and diagnose deployment failures.
- Experience collaborating with developers on reliable, secure service operation.
Useful, but not essential
- Familiarity with Vercel, managed PostgreSQL or Supabase.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and container-based tooling.
- Experience conducting recovery exercises or improving incident-response practices.
